Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• It is used to prevent formation of blood clots , which can lead to atherothrombotic events (such as stroke, heart attack, or death)

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• It is used to prevent formation of blood clots , which can lead to atherothrombotic events (such as stroke, heart attack, or death)
• Have had a clot in an artery of your brain (ischaemic stroke) which occurred within the last seven days
• Are allergic to Aspirin, Clopidogrel or to any of the ingredients in CLOPIDOGREL AND ASPIRIN 75/75MG
• Have a planned surgery (including dental) in the next seven days
• Are allergic to other salicylates or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
• Have a recent serious injury or surgery (including dental)
• Have had an asthma attack or swelling of some parts of the body.
• Have severe liver or kidney problems
• Have or ever had an ulcer in your stomach or small intestine.
• Are suffering from gout
• Ever had the problem of your blood not clotting properly

Indicated Side Effects

• Signs of liver problems such as yellowing of the skin and/or the eyes (jaundice)
• Sudden wheezing, swelling of your lips, face or body, rash, fainting or difficulty in swallowing
• Fever, signs of infection or extreme tiredness
• Reddening of the skin with blisters or peeling and may be associated with a high fever and joint pains
• Fever, signs of infection or extreme tiredness
• Unusual bleeding, such as coughing up blood, blood in your vomit or urine, or black stools
• Bleeding in the stomach or bowels, bruising, haematoma (unusual bleeding or bruising under the skin), nose bleed, blood in the urine. bleeding in the eye, inside the head, the lung or the joints
• Indigestion
• Increased tendency for bleeding
• Rashes, itching, dizziness, sensation of tingling and numbness
• Hives
• Excessive gas in stomach or intestines
• Runny noses
• Stomach ulcer, stomach upset
• Breathing difficulty
• Headache

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Prevention of clots (e.g. warfarin, heparin)
• Paclitaxel, medicine to treat cancer
• Organ rejection after transplantation (e.g. ciclosporin, tacrolimus)
• Repaglinide, medicine to treat diabetes
• High blood pressure (e.g. diuretics and ACE-inhibitors)
• Moclobemide, medicine to treat depression
• Regulation of the heart beat (digoxin)
• Carbamazepine, a medicine to treat some forms of epilepsy
• Manic-depressive illness (lithium)
• Efavirenz, a medicine to treat HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infections
• Pain and inflammation (e.g. anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen, or steroids)
• Fluconazole or voriconazole, medicines to treat fungal infections
• Gout (e.g. probenecid)
• Omeprazole or esomeprazole, medicines to treat upset stomach
• Epilepsy (valproate, phenytoin)
• A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (including but not restricted to fluoxetine or fluvoxamine), medicines usually used to treat depression.
• Glaucoma (acetazolamide)
• Heparin or any other injectable medicine used to reduce blood clotting, ticlopidine, other antiplatelet agent.
• Cancer or rheumatoid arthritis (e.g. methotrexate)
• Iron salts (for treatment of iron deficiency anaemia), carbonates (treatment of peptic ulcer and reflux), Alkali hydroxides (antacids)
• Depression (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as sertraline or paroxetine)
• Treating inflammation, including rheumatic diseases and inflammation of the intestines (corticosteroids).

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
