Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• To treat malnutrition
• As a supplementation of calcium during growth, pregnancy, lactation
• To treat osteomalacia
• As adjunctive therapy in osteoporosis
• To treat calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Have liver or kidney problem
• Are allergic to any of the ingredients in CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D3 TABLETS
• Have liver or kidney problem

Indicated Side Effects

• Elevated level of calcium in your blood or urine
• Like all medicines, CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D3 TABLETS can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
• If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effect not listed below, please tell your doctor immediately
• Pruritus, rash and urticaria
• Like all medicines, CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D3 TABLETS can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
• Constipation, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea
• If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effect not listed below, please tell your doctor immediately
• Milk-alkali syndrome
• Like all medicines, CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D3 TABLETS can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
• If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effect not listed below, please tell your doctor immediately

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Levothyroxine (used to treat thyroid disease)
• Cardiac glycosides, diuretics (used to treat heart disease)
• Bisphosphonates (used to treat Osteoporosis)
• Thiazide diuretics (used to treat high blood pressure)
• Quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline (used to treat infections)
• Systemic corticosteroids (reduce inflammation)
• Laxatives such as paraffin oil (used to treat constipation)
• Cholestyramine (used to treat itching)

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
