Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• For healing and symptom relief of duodenal and stomach ulcers
• To treat conditions where your stomach makes too much acid. This includes a rare condition called Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
• To treat heartburn and other symptoms that happen with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Have low magnesium or vitamin B12 levels in your blood
• Have phenylketonuria
• Have liver problems

Indicated Side Effects

• Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
• Stomach polyps (fundic gland polyps)
• Low vitamin B12 levels marked by shortness of breath, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, muscle weakness, pale skin, feeling tired, mood changes and tingling or numbness in the arms and legs
• Low magnesium levels marked by seizures, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, jitteriness, muscle aches or weakness and spasms of hands, feet
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Stomach pain
• Vomiting
• Metallic taste
• Dryness in mouth
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Tiredness
• Indigestion

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Certain antibiotics such as clarithromycin and amoxicillin
• Medicines such as methotrexate, tacrolimus
• Medicine that dependent on gastric pH for absorption (e.g., iron salts, erlotinib, dasatinib, nilotinib, mycophenolate mofetil, ketoconazole/itraconazole)
• Anti-retroviral drugs (e.g., rilpivirine, atazanavir and nelfinavir)
• Blood thinners such as warfarin
• Medicines used to treat heart problems such as digoxin

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
