Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• Infections in the skin and the layers just under the skin
• Throat infections
• Uncomplicated infections of the bladder and kidneys
• Chest infections such as bronchitis and some types of pneumonia

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Have diabetes
• Are allergic or hypersensitive to this medicine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Have or ever had inflammation of your bowel, called colitis or any other severe disease affecting your gut
• Have asthma
• Are undergoing dialysis for kidney failure

Indicated Side Effects

• Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
• Anaphylactic shock: sudden wheeziness and tightness of chest, swelling of eyelids, face or lips, severe skin rashes that can blister and may involve the eyes, mouth and throat and genitals, loss of consciousness (fainting)
• Itching, itchy rash
• Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain
• Diarrhoea and swollen, red, sore tongue
• Thrush
• Fever, feeling or being sick, weakness and a feeling of generally being unwell
• Joint problem
• Increases white blood cells, decreases in small cells that are needed for clotting of the blood
• Changes in kidney function
• Lumpy rash (hives)
• Yellow eyes or skin, changes in blood tests that check how your liver is working
• Abnormal blood tests
• Anaphylactic reactions (e.g. bronchospasms, purpura and edema of the face and extremities)
• Inflammation of the gut called pseudomembranous colitis
• Headaches, sleeplessness, dizziness, nervousness

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Diuretics (used to treat heart problems)
• Oral contraceptives (the pill)
• Gentamycin, polymyxin B and colistin (used to treat infection)
• Anticoagulants (used for blood-thinning)
• Cholestyramine (used to lower elevated cholesterol levels)
• Probenecid (used for gout)

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
