Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• It reduces the risk of a blood clot occurring in the heart or brain
• It is used as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic which can relieve pain and swelling
• It is used to bring down high body temperatures and to prevent recurrence of heart attacks or strokes by thinning the blood

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Have a history of stomach problems
• Are allergic to Aspirin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Are asthmatic, allergic disease
• Have ever had the problem of your blood not clotting properly
• Have high blood pressure
• Have ever had an ulcer in your stomach or small intestine
• Have trouble with your kidneys or liver
• Are dehydrated (you may feel thirsty with a dry mouth)

Indicated Side Effects

• Hypersensitivity reactions such as swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat
• Difficulty in breathing, asthma, and wheezing
• Bleeding
• Skin rashes or itching, or coughing up blood (however small the amount), nausea and vomiting
• Asthma or bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways that causes wheezing or difficulty breathing)
• Ringing in your ears
• Pain or discomfort in your stomach or lower chest after eating
• Kidney stones (which can cause severe stomach or back pains)
• Blood disorders (such as hypoprothrombinaemia or thrombocytopenia) or severe stomach pain
• Black stools
• Unusual bruising, disturbance in blood clotting, or vomit blood

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Antacids (indigestion medicine)
• Warfarin medicines for thinning of the blood/prevention of clots
• Acetazolamide used to treat glaucoma
• Ciclosporin, tacrolimus used to prevent organ rejection after transplantation
• Sulphonamides (a type of antibiotic) such as sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim
• Diuretics and ACE-inhibitors used to treat high blood pressure
• Phenytoin or sodium valproate (used to control epilepsy)
• Anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen, or steroids used to treat pain and inflammation
• Corticosteroids (used as hormone replacement therapy)
• Probenecid used to treat gout
• Insulin or any other drug to treat diabetes (e.g. glibenclamide)
• Methotrexate used to treat cancer or rheumatoid arthritis

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
