Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• Myocardial infarction
• Hypertension
• Angina pectoris.
• Arrhythmias

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Have thyrotoxicosis
• Are allergic (hypersensitive) to ATENOLOL 25 MG or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Have diabetes, kidney problems
• Have heart failure, blood pressure
• Have poor blood circulation
• Have first, second or third-degree heart block
• Have very slow or uneven heart beats
• Have asthma, wheezing or breathing problems
• Have a tumor called pheochromocytoma
• Have metabolic acidosis

Indicated Side Effects

• Dry eyes
• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness (particularly when standing up)
• Being unable to get an erection (impotence)
• Tingling of your hands
• Changes to some of the cells or other parts of your blood
• Shortness of breath or having swollen ankles
• Allergic reactions - raised lumps on your skin (weals) or swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat
• An abnormal heart beat, feeling dizzy, tired or fainting
• Feeling tired or aching and tired muscles
• Decreased pulse rate
• Feeling sick (nausea)
• Cold hands and feet
• Diarrhea
• Disturbed sleep
• Jaundice (causing yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes)
• Heart block (which can cause dizziness, abnormal heart beat, tiredness or fainting)
• Purplish marks on your skin
• Reduced numbers of platelets in your blood (this may make you bruise more easily)
• Mood changes
• Skin rash
• Feeling confused, anxious or scared.
• Thinning of your hair
• Changes in personality (psychoses) or hallucinations

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Medicines used to treat nose or sinus congestion or other cold remedies
• Clonidine (for high blood pressure or migraine)
• Insulin or medicines that you take by mouth for diabetes
• Verapamil, diltiazem and nifedipine (for high blood pressure or chest pain)
• Ibuprofen or indomethacin (for pain and inflammation)
• Disopyramide, quinidine or amiodarone (for an uneven heart beat)
• Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine (a medicine that stimulates the heart)
• Digoxin (for heart problems)

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
